The micro needling process.
The micro needling treatment process is simple, and involves lightly penetrating the skin repeatedly with very small needles, preferably with a product such as the Skinpen.
A topical numbing cream is always applied before the micro needling treatment to reduce discomfort, and the entire procedure takes around 60 minutes. A course of three to six micro needling treatments is advised, with one every six weeks.
The skin following the treatment will likely look red and feel tight and dry, but a take-home kit of products to use post treatment will be provided. The final result of micro needling is a boost in collagen production and skin rejuvenation, among various other benefits.
