Dermal fillers and lip augmentation

BEFORE

AFTER

At Amy Wells Aesthetics, we conduct all dermal filler procedures in a medical environment, prioritising safety, and consistently high-quality results for our patients.

Dermal filler treatment areas and benefits.

Dermal fillers are mostly used around the lip region of the face, however, there are many applications for this versatile, effective treatment.

Some of the treatment areas for dermal fillers include:

Smile lines.

Also known as nasolabial folds, smile lines are creases that extend from the sides of your nose to the corners of the mouth, and they deepen over time. Our dermal fillers integrate completely into your skin tissue to smoothen and fill these creases effectively.

The results are natural to the touch and allow for normal facial movement, which is thanks to the medical experience of our practitioners, and the safety-first approach to all of our dermal filler procedures.

Lines around the mouth.

Deepening at the corners of your mouth, these lines often appear downturned as you age. Not only can they distract from your smile, but they can make your facial expression come across as upset or angry, even when this isn’t the case.

The flexible, naturally occurring substance in our dermal fillers smooths and fills the lines around your mouth, adding volume and boosting your confidence.

Lip lines.

These vertical lines above and below your lips, also known as perioral lines or lip lines, come with age and are difficult to hide with makeup. They’re also often highlighted when a bright shade of lipstick bleeds into them.

Our dermal fillers smoothen and fill these areas with hyaluronic acid, a substance the body naturally produces, to achieve a smooth, natural, and aesthetically pleasing result.

Cheek volume restoration.

The fat pad within the cheek, also known as the malar pad, can drop as a result of volume loss from the aging process. Our dermal fillers help re-define your cheekbone using a naturally occurring substance, hyaluronic acid, which fills the areas that have experienced diminished volume.

As with all dermal filler procedures, safety is our top priority with our cheek volume restoration treatments, and we use a medical-based approach to achieve a high-quality result for all patients.

HOW LONG DO DERMAL FILLERS TAKE?

Using advanced dermal filler techniques, the lip augmentation procedure takes around 40-60 minutes.

Pain is minimal for dermal filler treatments thanks to the high levels of expertise and ability from our medically trained, facial aesthetics professionals. Numbing cream is also applied prior to all dermal fillers treatments to reduce discomfort.

Please note that there may be some swelling after your dermal filler treatment, which shouldn’t last longer than 2-3 days.

HOW LONG DO LIP AUGMENTATION, OR DERMAL FILLERS LAST?

After completing a dermal filler treatment with Amy Wells Aesthetics, your dermal fillers will generally last for up to 6 months.

HOW MUCH DOES DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT COST?

Dermal filler costs vary depending on the area, but costs start at £200 per treatment.
